![]() ![]() The work was incredible but the way of operating was hyperproductive. In a previous life, I spent 14 years heading up the education and innovation programmes in a large Irish human rights organisation. The Feminine Business School podcast is a rare show, where I can say I’ve listened to every episode. I am always in search of inspiring leaders in this field to support and motivate me in doing business from a feminine perspective. If you’ve been following me for a while, you may sense that feminist business is a huge driver for me as a woman business owner. Question 3 is magic as when you see your mentors as archetypes this will illustrate how you've had a full team of energies that have been supporting you in your life!įor this blog, I share a golden nugget of a podcast that I was a guest speaker on recently - the Feminine Business School podcast with the phenomenal Ainslie Young, an award-winning Feminine Embodiment Coach and Business Mentor. If they were in front of me now, what would I say to each of my mentors about their impact on my life? Witch, Wise Old Woman, Sage Old Man, Alchemist, Advocate, Healer, Seer, Rebel. What archetypes do these mentors embody? E.g. ![]() What did each of these mentors dream for me? Who have been my greatest mentors in life? And, or in recent times? What have they helped me see within myself? Or where like Tailtiu they have passed on, write them a letter and hold it as a keepsake - or burn it, bury it in the soil, or let it dissolve in water. You could also call, send them a message, email, or invite them to meet. You can light a candle inviting in the light of Lugh and as you journal, send your mentor(s) your heart in gratitude through your intention. □Ĭreate your own ritual to honour your mentors. It is safe for us to celebrate with other women. This community event reminded me that it is safe for us to celebrate one another. A gorgeous community of women gathered online and in-person in Brisbane, Australia, to celebrate these awards.įor so long women have been conditioned to be suspicious of one another (thank you witch-hunts!), and to compete with one another, and trade our power to masculine institutions, so we can feel safe. What is so empowering about this experience is that I so deeply felt the liberating vibration of women celebrating women. I received this with six incredible peers honoured for their work across diverse fields from business leadership to decolonisation to sensuality to rites of passage. This is in recognition of the multi-dimensional mastery of my body of work. While I was on holiday, I was awarded the Founders Flourishing Award by the School of Embodied Arts with the wondrous Jenna Ward. ![]()
